First Post

so, I'm going to jump into this blogging thing I guess... hopefully this will be a way to sell my fabric postcards and photo greeting cards and make some extra income, but who knows, it will probably have some musings about quilting, crafting, life, kids, and I'm certain plenty of random thoughts...

did my first photo shoot of my first batch of fabric postcards at lunch, hopefully they turned out well, will post them tomorrow both here and on etsy.

I really love doing these cards, I like the creative process, I like seeing the finished result, I like learning things along the way.  It's a quicker result than quilting is, it requires a little less perfectionism, though I'm learning that about some things I can be rather critical of myself and I definitely don't settle for less than extraordinary.

I have tons of ideas floating around in my head of new projects, and if there's something you're interested in, let me know and I'll see if I can create it.
